Cryptic Glyph Press is a small, independent publishing house and offspring of author Douglas J Ostling
It's current raison d'être centers around The Van Hazard Mystery Series, featuring the uncompromising fictional investigator's cases finding lost and stolen art and his insistence the nefarious characters he pursues in the shadows are held to account.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Douglas J Ostling is the flesh and blood creator of the Cryptic Glyph Press, the Van Hazard Mystery Series, and the Hazard Casebook Newsletter.
An author of full-length fiction and short stories, he has also written, produced, and directed dramatic works for independent TV. He has been assistant director of the Summer Writers Conference at New York University and was assistant producer of Readers Almanac when it aired on National Public Radio. Blood Rituals is a follow-up to The Art of Obsession, his introductory entry in the Van Hazard Mystery Series.
When not writing, Doug relaxes by reading, watching vintage noir films, and kicking back with a glass of single malt while listening to jazz. He's a lifelong New Yorker.
